So impressed was I by this book that I gave it to all my friends for Christmas, 2019. I am amazed, but not surprised, that those with negative comments seem to completely miss the point, I believe, Gladwell expresses. No, this is not a "how to" manual. It is a book to help one pause before believing and/or taking at face value anything the media puts out there. Definitely applicable to the political arena. And on personal levels, we are all "strangers". I found his book to be a huge reminder that there is always a "back story" where expressive and receptive language disabilities are evident one really looks and listens. This is what shapes our world, and we best pay attention.
