Outstanding show I'll preference that by saying I have never read any of the books so I am viewing this show purely as new content with no preconceived ideas or impressions of how it should or should not be or weather anything or anyone important to the story has been added, subtracted or changed. That being said im currently on episode 7 of season 1(🤞 fingers crossed that there will be a season 2) and I am very much enjoying the show. The character development has been good and interesting, the storyline as well as its development and progression have been good and moving at a pace that has kept me interested and wanting to see more and overall it has been a very good and interesting show to watch. I do wish that they would spend a bit more time exploring some of the dimensions they travel to as it seems like a bit of a missed opportunity to expand on the book series (again I have not read them but now plan to) as I would assume the viewers have more then likely pondered (like myself) what other worlds would or could be like and I would love to explore them if given the chance. That's not to say that these other dimensions aren't explored at all I just wish the writers and producers of the show would spend a little bit more time delving into these other possibilities to explore these people and see how they and the world around them are altered, changed and varied based on the decisions they make sometimes the changes being subtle and barely perceivable and other times especially ones where seemingly small and inconsequential choices and decisions have the effect of altering these lives and worlds into monstrous unrecognizable versions of the same people and world. In the end my personal opinion is that the characters are well developed as well as preformed by a great cast of actors, the storyline and pace while having room for improvement are still very enjoyable and more then capable of keeping the viewer both interested as well as entertained and I'm definitely hoping that dark matter will be approved for season 2 as I've throughly enjoyed the show thus far and believe there is still a lot more to the story left to tell and I personally very much want to see it. I give it a solid⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and 2 very big 👍👍 and would definitely recommend watching this show.
