I loved the series! I never saw it on tv but my sister and I watched it when we were small on an iPad, like the entire season in like 1-4 months I think. I loved that instead of making it like the original, they gave it a total different story arc and different origins and how the professor has a son. I also love the redesign of all the characters. I'm still a kid but whenever I hear the opening theme song(Japanese) I get nostalgic. I usually dislike animes and how lazily they are drawn because they have many details and how the colors contrast , how the line art is very thin and not very smooth , how the backgrounds look and some gross things they tend to have but PPGZ is totally different they are drawn nice as they have simple designs(not super simple like most cartoons) and their line art is awesome, they know where to make thick and thin lines and the art style and character designs are very likable and the main three's eyes are similar to the original and other characters like princess morbucks also have cool eyes unlike most animes where the eyes are super detailed, big or just weird .the backgrounds are cartoony and fit the art style. It has comedy,drama,tragedy and all in just one season! I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoyed watching the original or reboot!
