I'm surprised this concept never made it into the show considering Community had two d&d episodes and Harmon has alot of love for ttrpgs. This was a fun little series that takes Morty through each edition of the game, each version being played through different zany Sci fi means. The last adventure brings the whole family together and has a cohesive story which is simple but that's not really a bad thing. It captures the spirit of Rick and Morty while playing tribute to d&d as a whole (not just the recent edition) and unlike alot of media about the subject they actually seem to know how to the game works and convey the rules properly.

So far this is the best pre written adventure I have run. Each of the ten towns has a good amount of detail and can bring alot of side adventures into the campaign as well as expanding on the story. One thing I would recommend for DMs is finding a way for the Frostmaiden to appear more often than the book will have you. Personally I had a spectral form of her that would occasionally appear and start a storm or accept a sacrifice. Also the stuff with the lost city underground could honestly be it's own mini campaign depending on how far they delve so unless you want the party going on a large side adventure I would steer clear of it until the end of the adventure or just running it separately. Another thing this book does well is mood. The towns are on the brink of starvation and death, trade is stifled, there are cultists running around. Even just moving between towns is dangerous. If your players are looking for a survival horror type adventure this is perfect. You could probably adjust the level of horror and have it be more of a traditional free the land from the ancient evil type campaign if you wanted.
