There are two scenarios behind the making of this movie. Either the film makers were delusional and truly thought they were making a well-made, thoughtful film, OR they were trying to fool us into thinking they were serious about making an intelligent and profound movie about two famous characters. If the first is correct, I really feel bad for both the film makers and those who think this is a solid, well-made film. If the second is correct, the film makers are brilliant and should receive some kind of an award for putting us in a situation where we can't decipher their true intentions. Either way, our family can't stop talking about this movie, which means the film makers either stumbled into greatness or masterfully orchestrated a plan so subtle and ingenious that we won't ever stop debating this movie.
