There’s clearly too many people who didn’t play the older PS2 games, this game just LOOKS good, as far as gameplay goes, you can literally hold a button and forward on the joystick to web sling AND look cool while doing it Combat is okay, it’s good enough for spider man, but don’t try to fool people and compare it to something like the Arkham games, this game it’s way more mashy and brain dead, and OMG THE BOSSES ARE A SLOG FEST!! They take FOREVER, but to be fair bosses were like this in some of the older games Story is okay up to the Venom part where it just seemed rushed to hell n back…and there’s the woke propaganda which the entirety of the internet has already covered lol….you get to play as Mary Jane more than you play as Venom…. As great as this game could’ve been, I’d have to say it’s more of an embarrassment than anything. When web slinging don’t compare to PS2 stuff, there’s clearly something wrong and it’s sad more people don’t see this….maybe people don’t care about skill, as long as something looks cool….the web slinging don’t have to be as difficult as Spider-Man 2 for PS2, but it could at LEAST feel more like Ultimate Spider-Man….if this game gets GotY I give up on video games and the people who play them lol
