A film that you can relate to on so many levels. It is unsettling in its accuracy, in portraying the insanity of the sane world. One can argue that solitude, sorrow, and disillusionment are but pathways to insanity, which this film was masterfully able to capture and portray. The performance of lead actor Joaquin Phoenix is nothing short of the divine pursuit of the art. He was able to deliver multiple emotions in every second of ever scene. Only a man who has known both pain and triumph, devastation and warmth, deception and candor, struggle and fulfillment, would've been able to portray the role. Joaquin is perfect. Nothing but respect for the film and the people behind it. wow!
