Expectations been high but here we have reheated dry stake.
If you been hoping for excellent spectacle with beautiful scenery you probably got it right but if you wanted a story that would move you in some way, well not a chance. On the end of the movie you will probably get a strange feeling "hold on I've seen this somewhere before" and you are right. James Cameron originality died long time ago. Why I say it? The movie is nothing else like combining his two over budget films Titanic and Avatar. Story plot is not convincing and though you could possibly get hooked on two brothers fighting approval of the father, Sigourney Weaver reincarnated in the miracle birth having magical power and boy spider son of the so much hated villan. All of it disappears in ashes of blasts, fight, fire, overkill and blood. It does not do anything for you, you realize it doesn't move the characters and their Development in any way.
If it's a starter for his next 2 Avatar movies than at least it could be focused on one of the characters more here but no. Multiple plots never worked and will never work unless you do a series when you can develop them. All that waiting for the movie goes to waste a "waste of water" and time
Will I be looking to The next Avatar movies? Yes but this time expectations are on the lowest bar possible.
