A new twist on a old story. The movie has a good plot and brings Batman full circle in one movie. The Batman suffers from two issues that keep it from being as good as say the Dark Knight. 1. The pacing, it moves slow, some of the dialog is long and drawn out with thoughtful pauses. 2. When they say a dark and gritty film, they mean a Dark and gritty film. They used no extra money on lighting. Most scenes are to Dark.

Really good movie, not over the top great. Beautifully shot and the music is perfect with the jump scares. Well acted and directed.
