What a fantastic, poignant, thought provoking film with two of the country's finest actors! Glenda Jackson was amazing as Michael Caine's soul mate and it will be no surprise that MC played the role with dignity, passion and an empathy that ensured thst there wasn't a dry eye in the house....brilliant !!! We should also commend John Standing for his part in this film - he was also brilliant. Don't wait for this to come to your TV - go and enjoy yourself at the cinema. Thoroughly recommended - but take the tissues you're gunna need them !
