Very arm chair detective host who provides input and reacts to circumstance and protocols she (self admittedly) doesn't seem to fully understand. She has strong responses of, "The police did that?!" to things that are fairly normal protocol or doesn't know if it is. There's a goal at nauseam of sensationalizing and adding drama every few minutes. And at times she was crossing lines with the victim's family, asking for possessions, and putting way too much unfounded input like attributing someone's thoughts, which adds distracting subjectively. Law enforcement consultants keep more of a "we don't know if this is an issue yet" affect and educate. Regardless, I got so annoyed with the infused drama that I turned it off in the 3rd episode. Dateline and 48 Hours journalists ask questions vs try to play detective or prosecutor and that's why they're effective and enjoyable.
