Article 375 was made to protect women.Men (not all) wants sexual favours and they dumb women, some got pregnant. They have to face social stigma of being unmarried pregnant. But nobody questions a man, who does this. Ofcourse, he will not take responsibility of the unborn child. In villages or smalk towns, if a girl out of believe make any relation with a man, only on the belief that he will marry her. So false assurance of marriage, making a physical relation, isn't rape or cheating. In Indian context..it is still. Don't see towards west. In our country, in rural areas, girl and boy can't talk, even hold hands... so yes, article 375 required.... today and in near future. After some years, if Indian society progress enough, it can be replaced , changed...
