Didn’t quite cut it for me. I know that this might be biased on my part because this is a Korean take. I can understand why they decided to change a bit of the story. But they removed a lot of the great things from the original: the profound friendship between the two male leads, the climactic nature of the sequences, and the many adventures of the leads. This is definitely a great take of the Taiwanese classic, but for me, it didn’t even scratch the level of its greatness. So, that is me comparing it to the original. It just didn’t give the same kind of feelings.
