I've closely followed Scorn since 2016. Hard to believe I now have my hands on it, and have beaten it. Overall, it was an incredibly satisfying experience to delve into this truly oppressively barren world. The aesthetics, both visually and auditorily, are absolutely pristine and top notch. This game is a work of art.
There clearly was a large amount of cut content, as well as a clunky combat system that caused me to get frustrated a fair number of times. The length was quite short as well. Despite these criticisms, this game will stick with me for a while. This game almost met my personal expectations, but not quite. It could have been so much more, but what we have is still a wonderful and truly haunting experience that will go down as a flawed masterpiece and a cult classic in the years to come.
Ebb Software, PLEASE make a directors cut of this game, and make the vision you had portrayed in all the teasers and trailers come to life and complete this wonderful but incomplete gem.
