Calling this book disgusting or porn is off base. This is written in comic book form by an individual with a very confused identity. Based on some the writing I was wondering if er could be on the spectrum too. Not appropriate in school except for higher grades. Even if schools have a ban, kids will hear about and get a copy over the internet. Catcher in the Rye was banned back in the day, we read it anyway. The one element missing in the book is the harsh criticism by close minded people such as has been posted. A more rosy picture of acceptance was portrayed and I’m skeptical about that.
