Simply a below average movie. Not sure whats up with Malayalam audience who can hype any movie provided its Mohanal coming mundum madaki! The director/script writer has simply based a story around this.. lalettan munde madakiyal padam hit!! A revenge story you have heard atleast a million times shot in the beautiful backdrop of Kerala. The first half is extrememly strected. Not sure why around 10-15 mins was wasted on a stunt master’s death scene wherein the audience couldn’t even make any connection with the character. Shobana’s character was so irrelevant, any actress could be in that role and nothing about the movie would change. The makers only wanted to play the nostalgia card, hence this casting. The family dynamic which is the backbone of the movie was not well developed either. Overall, the script is very basic, also very predictable. Ohh and the villian everybody is hyping about. What was that? The worst written character! A smiling villian is not a new phenomenon in Malayalam Cinema. In the past, amazing artists like Narendra Prasad, Rajan P Dev have simply nailed these kind of roles. The character is written so cheap! Just foul language through out which looks so forced, wanting to remind the audience every 10 seconds that he is ‘the villian’. Yes we get it. Every time he opened his mouth, i got annoyed.. not annoyed or anger towards the character but just irritated by a poorly written character. The fight sequence in the jail is good, but Oppam had an even better fight scene. Overall the positives were Mohanlal with his fabulous acting and the cinematography. Final Verdict - watch on OTT and wishing some good movies with intelligent and engaging scripts come back to Malaylam cinema

One word - Pathetic Don’t waste your time watching this garbage movie. On YouTube classic 80s & 90s movies are availabe thankfully.
