The show was 5-stars... until the final few minutes of the last episode. A literal "Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot" ending! I was a huge GOT fan, until the final episode. What is wrong with the direction of TV today? What is wrong with neatly tying off the end of a story? It seems to happen more and more, that now I'm to the point of 'screw' watching a TV series, just stick to the movies. I know plenty will say that this is how the author writes, and other lame-duck explanations, but consider the following FACT: What is the highest grossing movie franchise of all-time? - Marvel's Cinematic Universe where the last movie was 'Avengers-Endgame'... where, let's all say it together... "THEY TIED OFF THE F'-IN END!!!" 'Nuff said!
