hi,
i've been watching dr who since it was imported to american tv, first by pbs ( i think). those were the tom baker episodes.
it's too soon to tell about the current dr. but in none of the episodes for far, did i hear the dr, say "run," or mention gallifry (sic).
by, the second or third episode ,the prior drs. were already stable, in their new form. the dr's latest form is still feeling "woobley."
although, the original premise was adventures in time and space, the latest seem to be based in or about america(ns) and politics. the dr. is already the pres of the world- diplomacy not politics was a basis theme. It would be a shame if the program's moorings were cut, the action left to drift, and the roots, the recurring (cultural) themes, that held this program were lost.
some said that unmooring of the economist from its roots was not a good thing for it. Let's hope the dr. doesn't fall in the same trap, especially because the dr has avoided or escaped traps for 13 re-generations.
"i don't know much about the english, but i've been to england."
in england, i think, limited liability companies (llc) are sometimes called "ltd. and, many companies have ltd, after its name
In the US, some llcs are formed by professionals, like drs. When drs form LLCs they are sometimes called, PCs.
I hope the dr. doesn't become dr. Who PC.
Is Steve Moffet (sic) still writing?
