It is good that these stories are told, however I think is disgusting the way the US film industry uses stories like this to make money off the back of the suffering of Black people! I think it unlikely that any of the profits from the film will go to the Equal Justice Initiative, personally I would want 80-90% of profits from films like this to go to the organisations they are about so that they can carry on their good work! I thought Jamie and Michael's performances were OK, but Brie's performance was poorer than I would expect from an extra, let alone for someone playing one of the lead roles.
