I absolutely loved this movie ! Everyone knows the story of that immigrant child , struggling with the pressure to take over the family business or follow their passions. The story tackles a very real sentiment. Chasing passion is a LUXURY! its a luxury not afforded to most immigrants , POC , and the poor. Luxury , traveling the world to “heal a broken heart” or “find yourself” is a luxury of the RICH & Privileged. Those stories need to be told , and continue to be told. Everyone needs to understand the struggle of immigrants, the privilege of money , and whiteness, and childhood is an excellent time to introduce it.
