I think Carolin said it very well. I also have read all of the Nancy Drew Book series since my Mom had copies. Very disappointed in how this show had hardly nothing in common with the original series. I wonder why they even bothered to say it was Nancy Drew. When I first heard of the series I shared with our Media Specialist since we have Nancy Drew books where I teach Music. I quickly let her know this series on C+W is not appropriate for Elementary students. Personally I do not watch television that should be rated R. Not sure how they secured rights to make this series but they have not done well.
