I recently watched The Family Star, directed by Parasuram Petla, and I genuinely enjoyed this Telugu romantic drama starring Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur. Released on April 5, 2024, it’s a heartfelt ode to family and love that, while not flawless, won me over with its charm and emotional moments.The story follows Govardhan (Vijay Deverakonda), a devoted architect who balances his big joint family’s needs with his own dreams. When Indu (Mrunal Thakur), a lively tenant, enters his life, their budding romance adds warmth and humor, though twists challenge their bond. I loved how the film portrays the chaos and love of a middle-class family—it felt so real and relatable.Vijay is fantastic as Govardhan, nailing both the funny penny-pinching moments and the deeper emotional beats. Mrunal is a delight, her chemistry with Vijay sparking joy in every scene they share. The supporting cast, including Jagapathi Babu, adds nice flavor, even if some roles are brief. 👍👍
