I don’t consider myself a prude, but the amount of time Choi spent describing the sex lives of 14 year old children made me extremely uncomfortable. Before the readers even understood who the characters were and felt immersed into the world, Choi had already put them through multiple unrealistic events that end in sex. It felt like she had no idea what a highschool freshman is - other than the fact they could not drive the characters were written as if they were oversexualized young adults. Other than these issues, the style of writing is so overly descriptive that I could not keep track of what was going on. Would not recommend this book unless you want to question the author’s state of mind.
