Illya Smith

I had been listening to this album via Amazon music in preparation of going to see the Damned live in Melbourne. It is literally one great song after the other. A rare case where the whole album flows perfectly and has no weak links. You literally cannot skip or move on from any of the tunes. They are all very different, and yet cohesive. And seeing the band play this album live was sublime. Another level again. And as an avid collector of vinyl, I had to add this to the collection. My only gripe is that it wasn’t readily available in Western Australia. I had to order it in. Whereas this album deserves prime realestate in every record store, everywhere. This is definitely worth listening to. Or better still, owning. I love it.
