Beautifully filmed adaptation of a wonderful book, with good performances from all the cast. Paul Atreides is especially convincing. My only complaint would be that there isn't enough time to fully develop some important characters, so you don't grow t love them the way you do in the book. But you can't have everything. Can't wait for the second half to arrive, as without it the film doesn't make sense.
