I love this show. The diversity in the cast and stories is great! I have a story. I moved 6 times in 6 years thru no fault of my own due to faulty inspections with a CKHA certificate. I never met a year's lease! They approved gas stoves hooked up to electric extension cords 2 years in a row. All units except for the last one had mold issues. I moved into a newly built government funded townhouse and was FORCED out less than a year later because of my legitimate complaints about the electric, sewage and trash not being addressed. WVHDF wouldn't hear our complaints because the owner bullied him after the inspector told us they were holding their check. Slumlords creating more generational wealth at the expense of the less fortunate. I bought a house. What are the odds of the 7th inspection not being done properly and the electric not being up to code? They're NOT REQUIRED TO CHECK THE OUTSIDE ELECTRIC WHEN IT EFFECTS THE INSIDE??? GOVERNMENT FUNDED LOAN??? New HVAC system installed but antiquated 100 amps doesn't support my home. I can't live comfortably in my home without worrying about it catching on fire and me losing everything including my life. The owner/seller/broker (BETTER HOMES & GARDENS)was the buyer the year before with the same realty company 🧐 3 houses were sold within months of each other are ALL having Structural issues. 2 of the buyers have personal relationship with the realtors/broker and don't want to take any action for the shortcuts taken during the remodel flip. Property is located near chemical plant that exploded in 2008 and caused structural issues to the surrounding properties. WV isn't providing safe stable housing to their residents.
