No story. Random CGI gore that isn’t scary, because no set-up or characters we care about. Isn’t that the whole point of a story? To care about the people we see on screen. The suspense doesn’t even need to be in the story because the audience knows what’s looming. Even if the characters don’t. It like if Michael Bay at his worst decided to get into horror. Very disappointing. I understand the “jump scare” from the studio in the IT movies. This isn’t jump scare. It’s just garbage. A slow build tension pointing in Pennywises direction while developing characters would seem to be the way to go. random events, maybe the thought of watching kids getting torchered for no reason is appealing to some. The worst parts of the “IT” movies was the CGI with no Pennywise connection. This is ONLY THAT. Without Bill Hader to crack a well timed joke because what we saw was, stupid, no scary. This is like watching “The Passion” for fun if you have no idea who Jesus is. HBO, very disappointing. Is the writers strike over yet?

I gave it 5. Creepy, moral questions, no certainty on where the story is taking you. Incredible writing. Almost flawless special effects. Outstanding setup. Outstanding. Cannot wait to see 2nd season. Wow. Just finished watching episode of season one and I am still creeped out.

One of my favorites. Acting great. Since it was before most viewers time, I suggest knowing about the real murders beforehand. Pitt is phenomenal.

One of the best movies I have ever seen. Since Covid I have hated going to the movies. Went in with no expectations, like the first one which was again very surprising. Blew me away. Haven’t felt this way since Endgame and Infinity War. If you haven’t watch the first before this one. Characters are need to know basis or you won’t hit emotional peak which is a must for Spider-Man. Best part is there were many moments when you have know idea where the storyline is going or what decisions the characters will make. I was actually on the edge of my seat, actually worried, scared and laughing.
