I came in hoping to see some cool nods to the game, at least one of the classic songs. I don't think there was one actual decent reference. It was a movie with weapons and monsters from Monster Hunter, but not a Monster Hunter movie. The feeling was all wrong. Not to mention the plot was less there than there was plot in the games
