Update: if I could do 0 stars I would. This would have been cool as a generic scify show, but they completely took a dump on the lore and origins of MC. Last episode is the worst. If you watch this show, ignore that its called halo and this is like a weird alternative to reality. Show gets 1 star for visuals and design and action sequences. Beautiful show. Gets another star for decent acting and I really liked the dude they picked for Master chief. -3 stars for making the show an alternative universe. If you're a die hard fan of the series this is borderline offensive some of the odd choices they made. The story is very weird. They had tons of source material and they just did their own random thing with halo lore sprinkled in. I do get to an extent that you'd need to be slightly different than the game and be able to show off MC face, but it doesn't need to be THIS different :S I was really excited to finally see this come to life but massively disappointed that its a beautiful waste of time. I dont care about any of the show because its not Cannon. Could have been so much better. Some silly executives made some really poor choices. Sucks because they're probably going to run this show into the ground before something Cannon can be made in another 5 or 10 years. Updated to 1 star. Near zero respect for source material. Just a Halo skin, sprinkled lore, mixed with B+ story and plot. Action scenes great. Actors great VXF great Story and respect for source material 💩
