I've read the book first as soon as I first saw the trailer, as I wanted to have my own perspective on the story, and the trailer was looking very promising.
The director of the Poor Things cuts a lot of scenes and context (as expected), but also changes the story in many places. And I am so glad. The movie gives some sort of closure the book didn't.
It is also very open, very enjoyable to watch and listen. Actors, colours, music - everything was perfect. It was a truly wonderful experience, even though disturbing at many parts.
P.s.: never reviewed the movie before, but this one is worth it :)
