The most Excellent book ever read about GIAP. During military service I attended some briefings and lectures about the Vietnam war but read and learned so much details from this book. Never knew that Giap was not only a great strategist but a field commander and logistician. He understood the Art of War must be fought based on Military, Political, Social and Psychological fronts and defeated two foreign armies. Loved the book as a Campaign Study especially its graphic maps and photographs. I found a printing spelling mistake in Page 99, last paragraph in the first sentence. Mistake was '' week '' instead of WEAK . Thank you. Col ( Retd ) J
