Dark satire at its finest. An insightful commentary on the dysfunctional depths to which American culture has fallen: the manipulative dominance of social media, the trivialization of the important, the corruption of our political discourse and system, the denial of scientific facts, and the general descent of journalism into glorifying the banale. Yes the entire film is an exaggeration, for sure, but it makes its point brilliantly.
