Lots of hurt white folks in the reviews. Looking back on things analytically is apparently a problem for white people who wish it was like that still. The documentary examines not just the music but the social and cultural environment back then because it helps the person watching to get a feel for what society was like and that apparently upsets some of y’all. Facts above whining abt wokeness. I think we’ve reached the point at which ppl complaining abt wokeness which sounds so cringey coming from the mouths of old white folks btw, is actually just a blatant way to complain abt not being able to be a bigot. Go cry and put another bumper sticker on your car.
