This was my first season watching the show. I loved Matt and truly hoped he and Michelle would have ended up as a team. I am totally disappointed in Matt. His insecurities of the past with his Dad and Mom’s marriage are definitely in his way with his future. Our past is our history and we all have one. This leads me to the end of the show being about race. First of all, Matt is bi- racial,, not just a “black man” as ABC portrayed him in the end. Matt’s uncertainty about a proposal became a issue after talking with his Mother. He then moves forward to break up with Rachel about something she did 3 years ago. People make mistakes and change. I personally think playing the “race card” was just what Matt needed to remove him from an already unsure situation. Matt, you are a big disappointment!
