Garbage. Despite short running time, it felt so long. Characters are unlikeable, cliché YouTubers. He’s a douche. She’s a nagging chicken. They have no chemistry. Haunted house under water is a cool idea but it’s mostly wasted here. I spent more time paying attention to what items floated and why they behaved the way the did then most anything else. Which should tell you something. But it was laughable- a heavy candelabra complete with candles hung stock still in mid “air” for several scenes. Even as someone swims by, floating chairs stay completely still. One doll floats by on a current while another does not. Other items have weight and sit nicely in shelves and tables. The camera work was often muddy - like they gave up trying for it to make sense or track properly. And yet, the environment wasn’t muddy enough - where was the silt? The haunting was rooted in a terrible story but ultimately made no sense and had no feeling beyond “Ew. Gross”. And the ending was < cue sad trombone sound effect > Unless a game of “Why does it float like that?” sounds fun to you, you’re better off skipping it.
