Steve Man – Google

Having just watched this movie, I found it reasonably enjoyable. Not too bad and worth a watch. It's a Science Fiction film obviously, but there were so many comparisons to real life. It's basically about the Earth in the future... Most things have broken down and the decent, hard working people are allowed to live on a very nice space station. They have access to advanced medical care, beautiful housing and are allowed to just enjoy the fruits of their labour. Then there are the rest, the people who live on Earth... As all the decent people have moved to the space station, Earth just breaks down and is unruly. It seems few can be bothered to work, or put much effort in. These people just pop out kids, with no regard and want to try to get to the space station, where all the decent people live. Obviously they are angry as they have to get off their backsides. To cut a long story short, the scummy people manage to get to the space station and wreck it for all the decent people, by messing that up too.That's where the film ends. I would assume, going forwards, that the decent people will then have to leave the space station, build another one and try to fortify it better to keep the scummy people away. Overall, worth a watch... 3.5/5.

To give this movie a 1 star is not fair... There are plenty poorer movies out there and I suspect it's a knee jerk reaction by those reviewers who either give five stars, or one star, without actually putting any thought into it... similar to "The waiter took 20 minutes to take our order and the peas were cold... 1 star"... Yes, it was a poor movie if you hold it up against the blockbuster action movies of today and of the past, but the concept was reasonable and it kept the attention, again reasonably well. It would have been better if Bruice wasn't in it, and breaking into the Fortress took more than a bang and a weak puff of smoke! Watchable if you're doing something/nothing else! 2 Star!
