Many reviewers said that if you liked Disenchantment or Inside Job, you would probably enjoy Captain Fall but I absolutely did not enjoy this show and I loved the other two. Animation style and overall story were fine but it is overall incredibly dark. I don't mind dark shows but this show was more dark than funny so if you're looking for a funny little show to watch after dinner, this is not it. I cried at the end of certain episodes because they involved topics that I just don't find funny even when you add a stupid joke on top of it because some topics just aren't funny. Interesting story but way too dark to make it an enjoyable show for me personally.
