It's Chilla Timeeee! My son runs around saying this constantly. He is always asking to put this show on. It really keeps his interest (which is very uncommon for a 2.5 YO) and it makes him laugh so hard! I just sit there and watch him watching it because he always has the biggest smile on his face. Wonderful cartoon, fun lessons about history, cinema and even the Ford assembly line! I've actually learned a few things too! Just overall a super sweet show. I love how they let their kids make mistakes. And they often allow their kids to learn through trial and error and through their own decision making. It's a parenting style I am working on too!
I also want to discuss the episode that a lot of people on here are commenting on and making false claims about. I am guessing they just hate the DW and are trying to put false information out - which is really gross to attack a harmless children's show. But anyways- there is a garage sale day and the parents let Chip walk DIRECTLY across their street to their neighbor's house (who they know well, i.e. the cupcake episode where they bake dozens of cupcakes for his senior center) and he is in view of them the entire time. This elderly man does not CHASE him around the neighborhood like one reviewer commented here. And he does lure him anywhere. He shouts loudly "Hey!" or something like that (which startles Chip) and then he adjusts his hearing aid and speaks in a normal voice and says "Haha sorry about that!" or something because his hearing aid wasn't working correctly. He then opens his garage because Chip is talking about how much he loves dinosaurs (which the driveway and garage are in the view of the parents still) and shows him that his entire garage is full of dinosaur eggs and such because he is a paleontologist I'm guessing. The moral of the episode was simply when you step up and away from your toys you are obsessed with, sometimes you can have new experiences and meet new friends.
Anyways... super cute show, we love it. If you get Bentkey for this show, make sure you throw on Gus Plus Us as well. It's a Sesame St style show and is SO funny and adorable with the cutest songs every episode.
