Extremely disturbing and disappointing. It has absolutely nothing to see with mother daughter bonding. In fact, very far from it. This was a major marketing machine that successfully lured engaged young tik tokers to dress up in pink and see the movie. They made a fortune pretending this movie was something that it wasn’t. Zero girl empowerment. Her last line after saying she doesn’t have private parts in the movie is that she is going to the gynecologist…pure coincidence I guess or completely normal you say. Not a movie I would recommend to someone who is a parent who believes in family, love, and self worth. This was a disturbing movie that made family, having babies, a heterosexual woman loving a heterosexual man … all bad or “discontinued” as mentioned in the movie. So sad to see actors that I adored and that are also parents participating in this type of movie. Glad my children were raised with values and are grown enough to be as shocked as I was when watching the movie.
