it's not great and misses a lot of what made avatar avatar. Costume design and settings were done well but a lot of story is exposition told through words as opposed to action, ie, aang saying he's scared to aapa as opposed to demonstrating it in anyway. Uncle iroh's character misses a lot, especially when he brings up ozai as though he values what his little brother things. Line reads are awkward, jokes tend to miss a lot. Sokka's character feels one dimensional, acting out of character and changing personalities on a whim (ie, deciding to rescue the avatar seconds after wanting to sell him out). I feel like had I not been watching with friends, this would be a show I'd be sitting through as opposed to watching and enjoying. The original writers of avatar left this project and you can tell.
