Read the books and loved them read them multiple times. . . I want to like the show but having a hard time giving it a chance. . . It's so dark. . . there's none of the humor that was present in the book. . . none of the personal discover of who she was in contradiction to who shes become. . . no one seems to notice she's no longer shy and withdrawn. . . no longer timid fragile Myfawny. . . Not a great start to a wonderful story.
