I am a very big fan of the clasic resident evil games as well as the new remakes but this game switched things up on me. RE8 is fantastic, the environments are full of detail the audio is just as frightening as the visuals and the monsters are crazy fun. It captures the atmosphere of RE4 in the village and then sharply changes on you when you enter into the castle reminding me alot of RE1. If you enjoyed RE7 or just love horror this game is a must play.
