The subtle ways in which key topics like education , right to work, financial independence for liberation of women are tackled , is 10,000 times more powerful than usual sermons and discourse on this topic. And does what hasn't been done before, reaches the heart directly. And that's when seeds of change are sown. In a world where there are still so many Directors endlessly objectifying women in Hindi cinema and refusing to even acknowledge or understand how even few minutes of some scenes can influence the culture of society , grateful that there are directors like Kiran Rao who do just the opposite and suddenly there is a hope that a cultural shift will be possible in our lifetime!
