I’ve just cooked the veg moussaka and it was really unpleasant. The tomato and potato sauce was bitter and very runny, the ‘creamy’ sauce wasn’t even remotely creamy it was runny and unpleasant. The recipe says 500ml semi skimmed milk - should it be 50mls?
I’ve also made the mushroom stroganoff and again it had an unpleasant bitter taste. It may be that I don’t like the flavours that Jamie Oliver likes. I love the look of the book but am very disappointed with recipes I’ve tried so far.
