The movie was entertaining but a bit slow in the beginning. I thought Nat Wolfe did a great job. People are so critical of this movie. I get it—plot holes and odd pace, blah blah. I watched it with my mom. We loved it. I picked this movie because it had 4 stars on Prime Video with 9,000 something viewers. I hope there’ll be a sequel. Norway is beautiful. CGI was good; it was a low budget film. Thor’s hammer and glove should look simple. If they were all shiny and fancy, it would be less believable. The darkness fits the story. I liked that it wasn’t a typical, beloved superhero/Thor. I love the Avengers but the gritty sad ending for Mortal was realistic. I had a feeling Christine was going to die. Don’t listen to the critics and watch it to find out. Give it 15 to 20 minutes. I always give movies 15 minutes and I’ll know if it’s worth my time or not.
