I loved this movie, it's simple and sweet yet moves you so deeply. It really was an example that nothing lasts forever which was what made my heart hurt since hotaru and gin seemed so perfect for one another. The animation and style of art was what encouraged me to watch it, I thought it was so beautiful and such an elegant style. If you're into romance, definitely a must watch, but also I feel like it's a nice short movie that everyone can enjoy. It felt like such timezone free world I was in when I watched it, even though hotaru was growing, and when their feelings of friendship starting turning into something romantic, I thought it was the cutest.

so before i watched it, i did hear a lot about it being amazing. At first i did like it, then with the freshman kid being all over molly even tho she preferred he'd not, he continued. Jake was cute, the characters were cute, didnt really seem to get a message out of this movie. i had read some of the reviews while watching and there were many disturbing themes in the movie. i dont know, i guess this just wasnt my type of film, i didnt enjoy it as much as i'd like to :/
