Looking forward to this so much but although it’s very beautifully filmed it’s missing so much of the real essence of the book . The bit about Linda and the duc de sauveterre was only a small part of Nancy Mitfords brilliant story, where are the Mondores ? Much better representations of this book have been done before A bit PC , uncle Matthew never even got to use some of his best lines. Cast were excellent, programme, not so much.
