I can say that this movie is blatantly good to horribly bad.
First, the acting skills. Pretty much the generic B+ movie you'd encounter but not from a low-budget one. I guess you could say it's basic, neutral, and generic.
Secondly, the plot. (I won't spoil anything here.) Story-wise, it has a good concept of how social media works and how the live-streaming industry affects the person in front of the camera. The downside goes to its plotholes. There are lots of it present maybe every 20 minutes if I could count. You won't get any explanation whatsoever. "Why is this?" "What is that?" will be stuck in your head, but if you don't mind much over specific details, you'll have a good time over this one.
Finally, the message of the movie. It's pretty obvious what it is. One glance at the trailer, you would instantly know what it is about. Even the title gives it off. The only problem is on how they deliver it, they don't give a proper conclusion nor bother explaining why should things go the way they intended to tell their audience. I guess that is what the plot is all about but I will say that the ending is not open-ended. No room for interpretation. It's like running through an alley and stumbling upon a brick wall or something -- a dead end.
I won't nominate this for any award yet I'd still recommend it to my friends who are into suspense rather than to my horror buddies. Just be careful, this one is going to make light on mental health issues and, of course, lots of nudity.
