it has an unique feel to it, as if it's one of the rare instances where at least most of this story is real and filmed and produced from good, heartfelt reasons. i really do believe the reporter wanted desperately to find answers. and i think there's a bigger reason...to reveal that things like this actually do happen & that it happens much more often on much larger scales than we'd like to think. sadly, about 98% of everyone i've ever met is too selfish to show compassion or remorse. so seeing a tv show that has someone that cares enough to actually help someone...well...that's hope i really need right now....because i forget sometimes good people are still out there.
i do think though that it goes beyond just one tiny town somewhere where the people that are supposed to be the most trustworthy end up being the least...i'm not saying the whole world is corrupt, but in more cities & towns than we realize...maybe it's not always organized, but in alot of cases...it is. and sadly, drugs are just the latest pod of people. religious terrorists groups have been plaguing us for much longer, secretly taking over authorial & even medical professions, using their power to cover up murders. All of them, no matter who they are, NEED to be exposed.
for ones sitting here as victims, we have no voice because no one ever believes your story...until they find themselves a victim, too. this woman found herself a victim, and a truth opened up to her about the hidden dangers she once was too trusting to see.
