Darling in the Franxx is (in my opinion!) one of THE BEST animes out there. It was so good, in fact, that I started watching 2 days ago and I already rewatched it within the same day of finishing it. (a lot of quarantine time). Graphics are really good and animation is very smooth. It makes you feel every emotion that you have. You grow very close to the characters and it feels almost as if you are growing up with the characters, going through every hardship that they go through. There's a lot of symbolism in darling from something as simple as kissing to a fictional bird named the Jian. After finishing DitF, I felt heartbroken and depressed for about a week, and this feeling apparently is common for viewers who finish their first run. That's how good the show is. It can alter your emotions for a whole week. I've seen a good handful of animes so far this year, none of them can amount to DitF. This show holds my #1 spot for best anime so far. If you're considering watching DitF and haven't decided to yet, please do. You will be amazed after you finish the last episode. P.S. The ending gets a little confusing and rushed, but the rest of the show was amazing and makes up for it. Watch it!!
